Sirius' history (part 3)

1996 Sirius website opened. GLpH launched. First Sirius Users' Meeting and Second Symposium held in Frankfurt, Germany. First PCA101 sale in Far East, to Chungnam University, Korea. STAN volume 2 published. Contract analysis service begins. Director of Research, Alex Avdeef, returns to USA to start new company, pION INC. who are appointed Sirius' distributor for USA and Canada.

1997 GLpKa is launched at Pittcon. Sales of PCA101 and GLpKa exceed 100 units. Research into spectrophotometric/pH-metric pKa measurement begins.

1998 Expansion continues: new science, engineering and software staff hired. A number of joint research and development programmes underway. Sirius appointed European distributor for pION INC. The Second User' Meeting held in Paris, France.

1999 First GLpKa sale to India. D-PAS launched: 20 sold in first 6 months.

2000 The new ProfilerSGA is launched at LogP2000 in Lausanne, Switzerland. Also on show at the meeting are the PCA200 and the new software suite RefinementPro made its debut. Beta-test version of our prediction software, Absolv is exhibited. Four new products launched in one year!

The Third User' Meeting is held in Lausanne, directly after LogP2000. Record attendence of over 125 delegates.
